Working as a software engineer

You will work in a team with Eric, Anna, Viktor, Christoffer, Linnea and Jonas and of course many more outside the team.

We believe that the key to creating the best products and services is through collaboration. This means that designing, programming, testing, maintaining and evaluating our created products is done together.

In short, your team will ensure that we deliver products with the right features, which solve the right problems for our end-users. Your team will make sure that our solutions are easy-to-use, future-proof and effective.

Your main responsibilities will most likely include:

• Work fullstack. Mostly with TypeScript and React but the bulk of the development at Sectra is currently done in C# and .Net Framework.
• Be part of a team with joint responsibility for creating state of the art products in close cooperation with the Product Owner and end users.
• Evolve our way of working in cooperation with your team mates - we can always make things better
• Contribute to better healthcare for millions of patients worldwide

In addition to these abilities, we also want you to:

• Have a master’s degree within engineering, IT or similar with a strong academic record
• Have a strong interest in new and innovative technology and software development
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written
• Value customer contact and thrive in a fast-paced technological environment

• Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying for example
• Don't like to sit in unnecessary meetings, we prefer to think and develop software
