Job Description

As a Software Developer, you will be a key player in our software product team for telco cloud orchestration & automation. You will design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions that manage Physical and Virtual Infrastructures, OpenStack, OpenShift, VNF, and CNF services. The ideal candidate has experience with microservices architecture and scripting, along with a strong understanding of Spring Boot, Python, Networking and unit testing. Working closely with our AI team, you will also help shape our zero-touch networking platform to provide seamless automation for network operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop microservices and web applications using Spring Boot, Python, Golang with OOP principles.
• Manage project dependencies and build processes using Maven.
• Possess knowledge of RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (preferably Mongo DB).
• Understand messaging queues (preferably Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Write Docker files for containerization.
• Experience with Java unit testing.
• Develop scripts and automation using Python or Linux Bash.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, databases, and messaging systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Software Development
• Experience with Linux for software development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, networking, and cloud terminology.
• Knowledge of IAAS solutions such as OpenStack, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of AI integration within cloud orchestration platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Certifications: Certification in OpenStack or related technologies (CKA, CKAD, RHCE is a big plus).
