Technical Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate the implementation of an Enterprise Voice Core Project for a major telecom vendor in Turkey. The role requires deep technical expertise in telecom core projects including IMS, SDM, EPC, NGIN, Voice Core, project management skills, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the project by managing technical discussions, overseeing implementation activities, and mitigating risks.

Location: Turkey (Hybrid - Onsite presence required for weekly customer meetings)

Contract Duration: February - December 2025

Languages: English (mandatory), Turkish (preferred)

Working Hours: In line with Turkey’s standard business hours

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Coordination:

• Lead the Technical Project Management (TPM) activities for the Voice Core & NGIN deployment.
• Establish an effective governance model for smooth end-to-end (E2E) delivery
• Organize and lead planning sessions with various technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure project milestones are met by tracking progress, identifying potential risks, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Serve as the main point of contact for technical escalations, conflict resolution, and issue management across all parties involved.
• Drive discussions and decision-making processes to resolve technical and operational challenges.

Technical Oversight & Execution:

• Develop a clear understanding of the solution architecture and project design.
• Lead and manage discussions on technical details, specifications, and implementation strategies between Turkcell, Capgemini, and Nokia teams.
• Oversee installation activities, ensuring smooth integration and testing of the NGIN and Voice Core solution.
• Provide technical reporting on project status, installation progress, and issue resolution.
• Organize and facilitate technical workshops with relevant stakeholders.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Identify potential risks and delays, and proactively work with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain a proactive approach to ensure the project is aligned with defined objectives and timelines.

Reporting & Communication:

• Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager (PM), Business Group Delivery Manager (BGDM), and customer teams.
• Attend regular customer calls and on-site meetings as required by the project.
• Ensure effective and transparent communication between all project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Technical Project Management within the telecom industry.
• Strong background in Voice Core networks, NGIN (Next-Generation Intelligent Network), and enterprise telecom solutions.
• Ability to manage complex projects, track milestones, and coordinate across multiple teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical issue resolution.
• Experience in working with major telecom vendors
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Fluent in English; Turkish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to work onsite as required for customer meetings and technical sessions.

Work Location & Conditions:

• Hybrid work model: Remote work possible, but onsite presence required for weekly customer meetings.
• Work to be conducted during Turkey's standard business hours.
• Contract duration: February - December 2025.
