Location: 1401 E Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23219- HYBRID- Candidates local to the Richmond, VA are required

  • 14+ years of C#.NET Development experience.
  • 5+ Years with Angular or Blazor Development experience.
  • 14+ years of Strong Database development experience using SQL Server.
  • 5 + years of Experience with Web API.

Responsibilities

  • VDOT-AMD is seeking a Developer with Strong Oral and Written Communication skills and at least 14 yrs or more experience and fluency with .NET web application lifecycle and middleware, C#, Web API Design, Development and Security, Blazor, JavaScript including frameworks React, Angular, Mud Blazor, CSS3 and HTML5 experience.
  • The Senior Developer is expected to ensure that programming best practices are being followed, prioritize work effectively and write system documentation when required.
  • The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions.
  • Strong understanding of C# language.
  • Demonstrated experience with .NET web application lifecycle and middleware.
  • Demonstrated experience with software development and architecture patterns.
  • Web API Design, Development and Security.
  • Relational database design.
  • T-SQL development.
  • Write effective unit tests and integration tests to ensure high quality software delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of system design patterns, tiered architecture, effort estimation, and testing practices.
  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
  • Work with project business and system analysts to clarify the requirements and then implement them.
  • Participate in Agile SDLC.
  • Team first attitude, character and skill matter.

Requirements

  • C#.NET Development experience.
  • Angular or Blazor Development experience.
  • Strong Database development experience using SQL Server.
  • Experience with Web API.
  • Experience with CSS3 and HTML5.
  • Experience with Automated Builds using Microsoft Team Foundation.
  • Experience with Source Control using TFS.
  • Excellent Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Agile SDLC best practices.
  • Experience working in Oracle - Desired
  • Understanding of SOAP Services - Desired
  • Familiar with Azure Cloud Concepts - Nice to have
  • Experience with PowerBI - Nice to have
