Lead Agilist

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Lead Agilist to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a team driving enterprise modernization across consumer and commercial business lines. The Lead Agilist will work with Agile Squads to instill and uphold Agile and Scrum values, ensuring teams deliver maximum business value while fostering self-organization and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

• Guide and support Agile Squads, ensuring adherence to Scrum values and principles.
• Facilitate Scrum events (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review) and promote their effectiveness.
• Coach Product Owners and Development Teams on backlog management and goal alignment.
• Drive team growth by fostering self-organization, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds 5+ years of full-time business experience and 3+ years of Scrum experience.
• Possesses strong knowledge of the Scrum Framework, Agile principles, and software lifecycle development.
• Skilled in coaching, facilitating, and mentoring at all organizational levels.
• Experienced in resolving conflicts and removing impediments for teams.
• Demonstrates leadership through servant behavior and by modeling Agile principles.
• Proficient in tools and techniques supporting agility, such as Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development.
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
