YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Merchandising Project Manager will assist in the management of the NAM Retail Business & Strategy across all product categories. This position will be the lead for transversal project management and monitor and understand business opportunities.

This experience will enable you to work cross-functionally across all departments of the organization and partner closely with the HQ office in Paris, France. This role will report to the VP, Retail Merchandising of CELINE North America.

Your impact

• Build presentation decks & analyses for HQ Paris and North American region
• Partnership development and coordination between regional business partners and central HQ in Paris
• Monitor performance by developing sales reports and conducting ad hoc analyses related to sales, product, stores, markets, and competitive landscape
• Lead 360 projects spearheaded by Merchandising Department (Preselling tool roll out, etc)
• Management of Second Life product lifecycle: Outlets, End-of-Season (Markdown, Family Sale)
• Buying activities on need be basis: create product assortment & buying strategy, complete order process, reviews with HQ teams
  
  

Keys for success

Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of Fashion / Luxury buying experience.
• Knowledge of competitive landscape.
• Passion for the industry.
  
  

Competencies:

• Analytical Skills.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Strong understanding of retail math (stock to sales, sell-through etc.)
  
  

Languages: Require fluency in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of French is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000- $120,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
