Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-based software applications and services, focusing on enterprise or manufacturing solutions.
• Integrate ML models into production environments in collaboration with Data Engineers and Scientists.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for AI solutions.
• Implement best practices for software testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, QA, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end AI solutions aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience, proven track record in designing and deploying AI applications at scale. Strong background in software architecture, microservices, and cloud deployment.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes (academic projects, internships).
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.

Desired Experience Level

Experience with edge computing solutions for manufacturing/IoT.

Knowledge of MLOps best practices (model monitoring, model versioning).

Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Familiarity with user experience (UX) design for AI tools.
