The Role:

We're seeking native Android Engineers to join Leonardo.Ai! As a member of the mobile team, you’ll be part of a talented group of engineers working on all features in our native Kotlin codebase. Join us in bringing the latest generative AI technology to the world by developing a performant and intuitive Android app!

What you'll do:

• Deliver solutions to complex front-end problems
• Write well-architected code and unit tests to go with it
• Develop and maintain our AI-powered creative tools using Jetpack and Kotlin
• Collaborate with product and design teams
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Android engineering and AI
  
  

Skills we like:

• Professional experience as an Android Engineer using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Coroutines
• Experience writing Unit Tests in kotlin-test using a mocking tool such as MockK
• Experience with Buildkite or other CI solutions
• Experience using GraphQL APIs
• Experience with dependency injection using a library such as Hilt
• Curious and highly engaged with the latest product design, mobile app trends, and technology
• An innate drive for continuous learning and improvement
• Experience in understanding complex business requirements and how to translate them into code
• Strong collaborator within cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of native Android UX design patterns
