How will I help?

#UNITE will be Westpac’s biggest transformation project ever. It is a business-led, tech-enabled transformation - delivering simplification and benefits for our customers, employees and shareholders.

A major priority for the Group over the next 3 to 4 years, UNITE is about delivering ‘one best way’ to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for customers, make things easier for our people, and reduce risk for generations to come.

This is a role within the CTB LOB Unite delivery village responsible for delivering to product strategies, outcomes and priorities under Westpac’s Unite program.

• Delivery excellence – Executing on a range of big and small initiatives to meet CTB product and pricing strategic priorities and outcomes including risk and regulatory programs, product feature uplift, developing.
• Strategic mindset and future planning - Building strategic delivery roadmaps to inform pipeline of work and business case for investment.
• Help influence – Decisions, investment, and resourcing support.
• Delivery expert – Key delivery SME projects and support on actions
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Project delivery – Navigate through complex and specialist product sets, technology and channels and competing priorities and perspectives.
• Regulatory environment and risk management – Operating amongst a heavily scrutinised regulatory environment and balancing between risk vs. reward.
• Familiarity with product suite – Experience with our products - Transaction, savings and payment products (debit cards, electronic payments, cheques)
• Business case for investment – Invest for our future - Thorough understanding over performance metrics relevant to transaction and deposit portfolios.
