Your new company

Our client, a successful company specialising in electrical and renewable energy projects, is recruiting a Junior Project Manager to join their team in Darwin.

Your new role

You will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of solar energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time permanent role based in Darwin.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Assist in the development of project planning including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  
• Monitor project delivery including quality, budget, safety, and compliance, ensuring key milestones are met and project meets industry standards and contract requirements.
  
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and manage expectations.
  
• Coordinate with project teams to allocate and manage resources effectively.
  
• Assist with creating and managing project documentation including project briefs, reports, meeting minutes, and updates.
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
  
• Previous experience in renewable energy or electrical construction is desirable though not essential.
  
• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Junior Site Supervisor or Graduate Project Manager role is desirable.
  
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (World, Excel, PowerPoint).
