Back End Developer

Function:

Are you a software engineer with a passion for crafting innovative solutions and transforming the digital landscape? We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, playing a key role integrating all cloud / data / AI components and making sound technological choices to achieve both speed to market and high quality. Your

expertise in modern software development, scripting languages (Node.js, TypeScript and/or Python), and microservices architecture (Docker) in a Linux environment will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Play a pivotal role in translating user stories into practical implementations that align seamlessly with our overall software architecture.

Be responsible for integrating our overall solution by seamlessly connecting all components.Based on your experience and additional research, make the right technological choices to balance speed to market and high quality.

Deliver high-quality code, including documentation and unit testing, while coaching colleagues.

Use your broad background in modern software development, especially scripting languages (Node.js, Typescript and/or Python) and matching ecosystem.

Embrace best practices and tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Jira, and Github, with the ability to set up and configure them for the team.

Define integration approaches towards 3rd party components.

Design interfaces to the cloud backend (REST) and/or IoT, if applicable.

Contribute to Cloud and Backend Development (AWS, Azure, databases, DevOps, ...).

We are looking

• Has at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent in combination of education and experience.

• Has at least 5 years proven experience in software development. Experience in healthcare related industry/technology is a plus.

• Has experience with technologies and skills mentioned in Key Responsibilities.

• Is motivated to produce the code that stands on its own, requiring no additional clarification or documentation.

• Can work in a global organization with a high degree of autonomy.

• Language skills: English (fluent), Dutch is a plus.
