Java & React Developer

Nexeo Belgium is seeking an experienced React & Java Developer to join a key project in the heart of Belgium, contributing to innovative digital solutions and supporting technological transformation.

Develop and maintain React-based web forms and backend APIs using Spring Boot within a cloud environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web forms and API integrations.
• Perform unit testing and contribute to Agile sprints.
• Maintain and update existing Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with UI/UX and architectural standards.

Your Profile:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• React: 3–5 years of experience.
• Java/Spring Boot: 2–3 years of experience.
• Solid knowledge of UI testing (JEST) and API architecture.
• Familiarity with Swagger, Spring 5, and DevOps practices is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Agile mindset and collaborative approach.
• Security-focused with strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Languages:

• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid model: 50% on-site in Belgium, 50% remote.
