We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Lead Developer with C/AL and AL programming skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the development and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements and needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.

As Lead Developer you will work together with a Finnish team of 14 colleagues as well as with external consultants. You will be based in Turku, but most of the work can be done remotely.

Job Description

You will be joining a team responsible for developing and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related ecosystem of .net applications. The team includes Software Developers, Requirement Managers and User Acceptance Testers, all working together on agile way to build and maintain reliable services that enhance our customer experience.

We are looking for a Lead Developer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to design, develop, and maintain the system.

The Role Involves

• Leading the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Working as operational Lead for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central production environment
• Developing customizations for Business Central.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other developers.
• Ensuring the quality and performance of the developed solutions through testing and code reviews.
• Staying updated with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and problems related to Business Central
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate is an experienced software developer with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development. You have experience working with both C/AL and AL programming language in on-premises environment. You are comfortable collaborating with diverse teams and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We Expect You To Have

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
• Proficiency in AL language and C/AL programming in on-premises environment
• Previous experience of operational system maintenance responsibilities
• Experience with SQL Server and .net technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ideally You Also Have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Financial Management module
• Knowledge of invoicing and ledger management processes
• Knowledge of incident and problem management processes
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications are a plus
• Ideally also Finnish language skills
