Lead Project Manager

Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, procedures, and best practices
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the studio
  • Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Ensure the studio is equipped with the necessary resources, tools, and materials

2. Project Management

  • Coordinate with project managers and design teams to streamline project processes
  • Track project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to mitigate risks
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Facilitate continuous professional development and training opportunities for the team

4. Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for operational activities
  • Monitor and control operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements
  • Work with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting

5. Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with HQ, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Address concerns and feedback promptly and effectively
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support client acquisition and retention

6. Quality Control

  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of design and delivery
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications

7. Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to the studio's strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and development
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to keep the studio competitive


Requirements

1. Qualifications

  • Major in Business Administration, Operations Management, Design, or a related field Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a design studio or creative agency
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience with lean management and process improvement methodologies

2. Conditions

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, German is a plus
  • Based in Munich studio with occasional travel to the main headquarters and other locations as required
  • May involve working extended hours to meet project deadlines
