About The Role

Norse IT is responsible for the operation and support of all IT systems within the company. The IT Support Specialist plays a critical role by directly supporting all team members, providing timely and quality desktop hardware, software, and mobile device troubleshooting, employing a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and responsiveness.

This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work well while prioritizing multiple requests. The support specialists is part of an IT team providing excellent support to the global operations of Norse.

Your Main Responsibilities And Duties

  • Monitor the Helpdesk system for inbound issues and ensure all issues are logged and documented;
  • Provide end-user computing support using an ITIL-based Service Desk approach;
  • Adhere to and enforce all information security protocols;
  • Communicate effectively, integrate well with all levels of staff, and work independently;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues in a timely and professional manner;
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software across the organization;
  • Support Airport equipment and POS devices

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • Ability to remain focused, professional, and flexible while managing multiple tasks and requests;
  • Previous experience in a IT support role will be considered as an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin, including user account administration;
  • Experience with remote access tools and VPN configuration and administration;
  • Strong experience in deploying, administering, and supporting Windows, macOS, and iOS platforms;
  • Ability to set up and support mobile devices and desktop systems;
  • Experience working with the Microsoft 365 cloud environment;
  • Experience supporting airport equipment and point-of-sale (POS) devices;
  • Familiarity with supporting key enterprise applications;
  • Basic networking skills, including troubleshooting network-related issues.
