The role
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing and enhancing our Kubernetes platform. This position is pivotal in providing an exceptional Developer Experience by building and optimizing tools, ensuring smooth deployments, and supporting our development teams by configuring, installing, and creating new tools, as well as providing documentation and guidance.

You will join the Developer Experience team and will report to Jose Hervas (Engineering Manager) based in Spain.

Our hybrid working model is 3 days/week in the office.

What will I be doing? 🤔

• Platform Management: Manage and optimize our Kubernetes platform, including ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Kubernetes operators, and related technologies
• Tooling Development: Design and develop custom tools and operators in Golang to enhance the Developer Experience
• Developer Support: Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment processes and provide clear documentation and guidance for using our tools
• Security and Scalability: Continuously improve platform security, performance, and scalability
• Documentation: Contribute to and maintain detailed documentation for the Kubernetes platform, deployment processes, and custom tools
  
  
  
  
  

What do we need from you? 😎

• Kubernetes Expertise: Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Go Lang and in any scripting language (e.g., Python, or Bash, or Ruby, etc.)
• Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Team Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
