Backend Developer – Fintech (Node.js & TypeScript, Serverless)

We’re looking for a Backend Developer to join our clients fintech team, building scalable, high-quality solutions for compliance reporting and risk assessment. This role focuses on Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless architecture, driving test-driven development (TDD) and improving system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop serverless functions and cloud-based microservices.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs for complex data processing.
• Implement TDD to enhance stability and trust in our systems.
• Improve development practices with a focus on testing and code quality.
• Mentor teammates and foster a collaborative engineering culture.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless architecture.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with TDD and best practices for testing.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in fintech applications (compliance, risk, payments).
• Knowledge of Palantir Foundry or similar platforms.
• Basic React skills or Python knowledge.
• Familiarity with Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs).
