Machine Learning Engineer

An opportunity for someone with expertise in computer science, machine learning, or a related field, passionate about AI and human emotion. This role involves developing and evaluating algorithms that recognise and express emotions through speech and text.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in affective computing, focusing on speech-based emotion recognition and expressive text-to-speech synthesis.
• Develop advanced models for multimodal emotion detection and expressive speech synthesis.
• Collaborate on real-world applications, ensuring efficiency and low latency.
• Stay updated on the latest research in AI and affective computing.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong background in signal processing, natural language processing, or related areas.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in Mandarin

Preferred:

• Research publications in relevant fields.
• Experience with multimodal data, speech recognition, or human-computer interaction.
• Understanding of ethical considerations in affective computing.
