Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Simulation Engineer for a freelance project in Gothenburg working for a Swedish Automotive Client based in Gothenburg,

Duration: 12 months + Extensions

Station location: Gothenburg- 40% remote/60% onsite

Pay Rate: Negotiable

English Speaking Accepted (Swedish a plus)

Scope: 100%

Daily Responsibilities:

• Create dashboards to visualize data and insights.
• Collaborate on Python scripts for the toolchain, often through pair programming.
• Share your expertise and support teammates with challenging tasks.
• Engage with users to optimize tool utilization and address concerns.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies to ensure alignment and progress.
• Explore new ways to enhance our simulation toolchain through innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Engineering Physics, Robotics, or related fields (Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc., or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with server-based distributed Linux systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in the automotive industry.
