IT System Engineer

Responsibilities

• To manage and support the businesses core systems.
• Server and application maintenance, installation, and support.
• Maintenance and management of VMWare vSphere environments.
• Maintenance and Management of Storage Systems and Networks
• Maintenance and Management of Backup Systems
• Maintanence and Management of on-prem Exchange Server on a multi site environment
• Knowledge of Enterprise Vault is a plus.
• Active Directory administration
• Group policy creation and maintenance.
• Monitoring systems administration, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Operationg and maintenance of DHCP,DNS, WSUS and WDS
• Ensure all operations and systems are up-to-date and secure.
• 3rd line fault resolution for issues affecting critical company operations / user experience and system performance.
• Advance systems and services when necessary.
• Improve disaster recovery operations.
• Supplier relationship management working with 3rd party support and suppliers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT management or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of network architecture, hardware, software, and security protocols.
• Experience developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IT infrastructure and security.
• Finance industry experience is a considerable asset.
• Good command of English language is mandatory.
