Software Developer - Laravel / PHP

Hays Software Engineering are looking for a Laravel / PHP Developer to join a Global Insurance Business.

The Role:

• Lead the development scalable Laravel framework web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, technical specifications, and timelines.
• Architect and design robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in web development.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with the Laravel framework.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL & related tech.
• Deep understanding of MVC design pattern, object-oriented programming, and software architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with version control systems.
