About the Role

We are seeking a Chief Strategist - Strategy & Innovation to work closely with the Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer (CSIO) in shaping and executing high-level strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the company's innovation framework, business operations, and long-term vision. It is designed as a succession pathway to the CSIO position, equipping the right candidate with leadership skills and strategic expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Support the CSIO in driving corporate strategy, identifying key market trends, and developing competitive growth initiatives.
• Innovation & Technology: Foster a culture of innovation, evaluate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Data Analytics), and explore new business opportunities.
• Corporate Development & M&A: Engage in mergers, acquisitions, and partnership activities to drive strategic growth.
• Branding & Communication: Collaborate on brand positioning, customer engagement, and market perception strategies.
• Performance Management: Establish KPIs, track execution of strategic initiatives, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to operational excellence by streamlining processes and adopting automation strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including industry leaders and technology partners.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Sector Expertise: 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or corporate development, ideally within the telecom or technology sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Master's in Innovation/Strategy preferred).
• Skills:
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Knowledge of emerging technology trends.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
