Purpose Of The Job

Our client is world leader in the rapidly changing environment of communications technology – by providing hardware, software, and services to enable the full value of connectivity. We are building a process orchestration solution which combines data from many global applications through a variety of integration patterns and frameworks to enable automated Purchase Order handling between our client and its suppliers. The solution enables users to act upon all steps of the Supplier Purchase to Pay process such as: submitting and approving PO Requests or Service Confirmation, handling Change Requests, triggering a Return Delivery or automated closure of balanced POs.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance, best practices, and hands-on development in Node.js

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure the team follows best software development practices

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, and DevOps to ensure smooth development and delivery of the project

Continuously improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and operational efficiency

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

5+ years of experience in backend development

At least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, NestJS, Jest or similar frameworks.

Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence

Proven experience in mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a strong engineering culture.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Would Be a Plus

Knowledge of React

Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies)

Previous experience in high-scale, distributed systems
