Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for the Nexus application. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to gather user requirements and create seamless interactions that enhance the user experience for both shop floor operators and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
User Research:
Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of shop floor operators and leadership. This includes interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Information Architecture
Develop clear information architecture by organizing and structuring content in a way that makes it easy for users to find information and navigate through the application.
Wireframing and Prototyping*:
Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that illustrate user flows and interactions. Ensure that designs meet business goals while providing a seamless user experience.
User Interface Design*:
Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with the application's branding and enhance the user journey. Collaborate with visual designers, if applicable.
Usability Testing
Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Analyze results and iterate on designs based on user insights.
Collaboration*:
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
Documentation*:
Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, user flows, and design guidelines to facilitate collaboration and communication with team members.
Stay Updated
Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design. Incorporate relevant findings into the design process.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, preferably within the tech or manufacturing industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma(Preferred), or similar.
- Familiarity with usability testing methods and user research techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions rationally and coherently.
- Experience working with agile development teams is a plus.
