Frontend Engineer – AI-Powered FinTech (London, Hybrid)

Backed by top-tier VCs and angel investors from industry-leading AI and financial firms, we are developing an innovative platform that applies cutting-edge generative AI to complex financial data.

As our Front-End Engineer, you’ll join a highly skilled, lean team at a pivotal stage. You’ll have full ownership of the front-end architecture and drive the development of a high-performance, scalable, and intuitive interface that will redefine how users interact with financial insights.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect, develop and optimize complex, scalable front-end systems using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Lead front-end systems design and contribute to technical decisions that will shape our product.
• Drive performance, accessibility, and UI best practices to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with AI, Backend, Product, and Design teams to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
• Establish and maintain frontend observability to ensure a smooth, efficient user experience.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• A solid track record in early-stage startups or fast-moving environments where you’ve had significant ownership.
• Hands-on experience with frontend observability, performance monitoring, and debugging complex UI applications.
• A deep understanding of state management, API integrations (REST/gRPC), and modern frontend best practices.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (London-based, flexible remote working options available).

Bonus Points

• Experience working on complex data-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with design systems, UI/UX principles, and accessibility best practices.
• Some exposure to backend technologies (Python is a plus).
