We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international U.S.-based software development company with an office in Australia and over 800 employees globally.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing company with strong financial backing and expansion plans following an acquisition last year.
Role Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in improving system performance, implementing best practices, and standardizing processes across global teams.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office within a 30-person Australian team, working closely with international DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance system stability and optimize infrastructure performance
- Migrate services to Kubernetes and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Automate cloud operations and scale AWS infrastructure
- Work with global teams to standardize DevOps processes
- Collaborate with 2 DevOps Engineers in Australia and a 26-person DevOps team worldwide
Requirements
- 6+ years of working experience
- Strong AWS experience – must have automated and scaled systems, not just used the platform
- Hands-on experience with automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps tools
- Kubernetes experience
- Development background
- Proactive problem-solving approach and strong team collaboration skills
