Systems Developer

We are seeking a skiled Systems Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate wil have a strong background in system deployment and maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role involves ensuring the stability and efficiency of our deployment processes, as wel as developing and implementing fixes for any issues that arise.

Project description

The customer develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a variety of asset classes and global markets. We seek to produce high-quality predictive signals (alphas) through our proprietary research platform to employ financial strategies focused on exploiting market inefficiencies. Our teams work colaboratively to drive the production of alphas and financial strategies – the foundation of a sustainable, global investment platform.

Responsibilities
Architect and develop services that work at scale, for multiple customers using custom developed and Open-Source software.
Work within the team on the various products that the team supports.
Develop tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor services in a large-scale distributed environment.
Work with teams to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions related to the DevOps and Agile transformation of the enterprise.
Participate in periodic on-call duties
Collaborate with peers both inside and outside your team.
Requirements:
Deep understanding of concepts and hands-on experience working with Linux systems (networking, shel/bash scripting, system cals, etc.)
System development skils (Python, C/C++, Golang, Java, Rust)
Proficiency in Python or any of the aforementioned
Strong system integration ski ls (HTTPS protocols, Kerberos, API programming)
Experience designing and maintaining secure APIs focused on system management and integration
Deep understanding and hands on experience with container orchestration systems (k8s is preferred) and cluster management tools (Ex: Slurm, k9s, Lens)
Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
Hands on experience with Infra-as-Code technologies such as Helm, Terraform and Ansible
Hands on experience with monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab is preferred, GitHub and Git are accepted)
Experience working on agile environments
Strong English communication (both verbal and written)
Team attitude is crucial as position require colaboration with different teams
