Product Owner, Authentication Core Services (Temporary)

We are now looking for a Product Owner for a one-year temporary position to join our Authentication Core Services team in Helsinki. Your workplace will be located in the OP Group's modern facilities in Vallila, Helsinki, but we flexibly combine remote and on-site work in our daily routines. Read more below and apply today!

Being a Product Owner at OP

As a Product Owner, you understand customer needs and guide your team's development and operational priorities and dependencies in line with the goals. The Authentication Core Services team provides reliable, high-performance, and secure identification and access management solutions for digital services, created by several OP business units.

Your team consists of skilled and experienced professionals, and you are also responsible for leading the development of selected authentication solutions across team and tribe boundaries. In your daily work, you will also work closely with other internal and external stakeholders. We, therefore, expect you to have excellent communication and collaboration skills in both Finnish and English.

As a Product Owner, you do not have direct supervisory responsibility, but the role emphasizes clarifying the product strategy for the area of responsibility and putting it into practice. You ensure that the team receives clear goals, priorities, and objectives. As a product owner, you are ready to work as an integral part of the team and can bring your insights to technical solutions as well.

To succeed in the role

You have not only a strong technical background but also an understanding of the authentication field and regulations. You have previous experience in identification and access management solutions, and you also have a business vision for developing services.

You have experience in product management and are a strong development expert who has developed services using agile methods. You have experience in leading the development of secure, high-availability services. You are also familiar with the abbreviations Java, DB2, IAM, JWT, OAuth2, OIDC, eIDAS, HSM, PKI, etc. You also have experience in leading the development of cloud services. You are committed to achieving the team's goals and results and actively participate in the development of team practices. You create a clear and peaceful working environment for your team and enable your team members to succeed in their tasks. You understand the login and authentication industry and draw development ideas from various sources.

Success in the role is facilitated by

• Strong analytical skills
• Good internal and external communication skills in Finnish and English
• Service and/or development management experience in the financial services industry
