About The Role

As a Lead Mobile Engineer at Ovoko, you'll own the development and architecture of our React Native app, set best practices, direction and drive key technical decisions. You'll collaborate with product, design and software engineers to deliver top-quality product while ensuring performance and stability. Regular visits to our clients will be part of your role to make sure that what we build is not just functional but battle-tested in the real world. This is a unique opportunity to kickstart and shape our mobile platform from the ground up, creating the ultimate tool to digitize used car parts and revolutionize the industry.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

• Lead the development and architecture of our React Native mobile application;
• Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns;
• Drive technical decision-making and implementation of new features;
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend team members to deliver high-quality solutions;
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality across the mobile codebase;
• Optimize application performance and maintain app stability.
  
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of React Native/mobile development experience;
• Expertise in TypeScript;
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and app deployment processes;
• Solid experience with testing frameworks and methodologies;
• Experience in publishing and maintaining mobile applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including knowledge of submission guidelines, app signing, provisioning profiles, and troubleshooting rejections or compliance issues;
• Familiarity with release management processes, including TestFlight and Google Play Console for beta testing and staged rollouts;
• Strong ownership and a product-focused mindset, ensuring technical excellence while focusing on delivering real value to users.
  
  

SALARY

The offered salary range for this position starts from 5500 € (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.
