ParetoLabs is looking for a creative and motivated UX/UI Designer to join our team. This position is perfect for someone passionate about user-centered design and interested in creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces. You will work closely with experienced designers and developers to develop innovative solutions for our client projects.

The startup helps clients optimize their digital products through appealing and user-friendly designs. Founded in Zurich, the "Microsoft for Startups" partner has been bringing together the most innovative technologies with the specific needs of Swiss companies since 2023.

Tasks

  • Assist in the design and optimization of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Conduct user research and create personas and user journeys.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design ideas.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
  • Participate in design workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster creative solutions.
  • Assist in creating design systems and style guides.


Requirements

  • Educational Background: Recently graduated or currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Media Design, or a related field with a focus on UX/UI.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of common design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar programs. Initial experience with prototyping tools is an advantage.
  • Creativity and Problem-Solving Skills: Passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics, with the ability to develop creative and user-friendly solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English or German with the ability to present design ideas clearly and collaborate within a team.
  • Proactive Learner: Enthusiasm for new design trends and technologies, with a desire to continuously improve your skills.
