SR2 currently looking for a Machine Learning Engineer for a key start-up customer of ours in the real estate sector.


Location: Remote first (offices in London or Edinburgh).

Salary: £65,000 - 75,000.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement algorithms for real-time data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to ensure technical and product requirements are understood and executed on.
  • Work with ML models, with a specific focus on energy models.
  • Use Time-Series Forecasting.
  • Challenge existing methods to stay at the forefront of how data can be used to innovate.
  • Apply your expertise in analytics, data science, and the data storytelling to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with products and communications and how those insights can inform communication strategy.
  • Ensure smooth and regular release of new features.
  • Opportunity to progress into a leadership role as the Data Science team expands.
  • Introduce new scientific ideas that will benefit the wider business.
  • You will be working closely with the software & data engineering team to help deliver key projects on time.


Ideal background:

  • 4+ years’ experience in the data science field.
  • Self-starter, who has experience in the cloud (GCP preferred).
  • Extensive experience with ML models.
  • Deep understanding of Time-Series Forecasting.
  • Experience with energy models would be beneficial.
  • Familiar with building and optimising data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficient using Python and SQL.
  • Ability to work on messy, complex real-world data challenges.
  • Experience in the Geospatial space would be a huge plus!
