DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices into our customer's software development lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with development, security and operations teams to ensure our customer's applications are secure, scalable and proficient.

Key responsibilities & duties include:

• Design, implement and manage security tools and practices across the development pipeline
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure coding practices
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities within applications and infrastructure
• Automate security testing and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines
• Guide security best practices for cloud environments and on-premises systems
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and response time SLAs/OLAs are met or surpassed
• Document DevSecOps processes and ensure platforms are up to date and properly maintained
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a related role
• Comprehensive technical expertise in a variety of DevSecOps toolkits, including Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Black Duck, Terraform, Git/Version Control Software, or comparable technologies
• Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards
• Knowledge of DevOps Automation (Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with security automation and machine learning
• Impressive analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to express technical information clearly at different organisational levels
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• CISM, CISSP or other security certifications
• Auditing and compliance certifications such as CISA, PCI-ISA and PCIP
