Senior Network Engineer

Are you interested in working for a global market leading Shipping and logistics business?

This role is to ensure the prompt resolution of assigned incidents, effective problem management, and the stable operation of their EMEA IT infrastructure. They're looking for somebody to take ownership of selected services, analyse their overall network stability, identify areas for improvement, and initiate/drive improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Address incident and problem tickets within established service level agreements.
• Ensure servers and infrastructure hardware are maintained following company standards.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot workstation hardware, software, network peripherals, cabling, and networking hardware and software.
• Keep documentation up to date and audit IT equipment to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor and evaluate network performance, providing statistics and reports on network performance.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in advanced networking, preferably as a CISCO-certified engineer.
• Strong expertise in advanced network configuration, security (including firewalls), SDWAN, and web filtering solutions like Netskope and similar tools.
• Extensive application support experience with LAN networking protocols and knowledge of IP and routing protocols
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including Intel, Cisco, VoIP and MPLS
