Job Description

HYBRID TYPE OF WORK (3 days in the office: ul. Przyokopowa 33, Warsaw)

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development or production.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Consistently improve department operations and communicate them to internal and external teams.
• Optimize designer’s day-to-day workflow.
• Lead, develop and manage productivity of design team in achieving high-quality standards.
• Assign projects to designers as appropriate.
• Work with teams to generate ideas and proposals for improvements.
• Present and defend designs to stakeholders, product management and teams.
• Maintain an orderly log of all projects and communicate clear delivery dates.
• Conceive new product concept ideas and enhancements for new and existing games and present those ideas to stakeholders.
• Establish and promote design guidelines.
• Recruit and train new design team members.
• Brainstorm different ideas to solve design related problems.
• Conceptualize, design and assist with implementing highly engaging and intuitive user interface and user experience solutions.
• Have a professional approach to costs and deadlines.
• Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications.
• Replace colleagues during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences. Replacement takes place during working time, and it is not considered as additional work.
• Stay current with trends in the design and industry field.
• Provide quality control over concepts and projects.
• Continuously evolve the creative process.
• Participate in meetings and regular design reviews.

Qualifications

• Secondary education.
• 4+ years of experience in the related industry.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills.
• Creative and artistic flair.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry software.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design trends.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple design projects from concept to completion and apply industry best practices.
• Ability to provide actionable feedback.
• Ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and others.
• Ability to process complex information into simple design solutions and address them to designers.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to manage, supervise and train UI/UX designers.
• Align design decisions with business goals.
• Communicate operations to external departments.Strong understanding of online gaming.
• Previous Senior role experience is an advantage.
