Project

We are looking for a Senior Network Support Specialist to join our team in Warsaw. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of over a dozen employees and external consultants, working closely with Network Engineering (governance, security, architecture & design) to drive projects and define the future of network infrastructure. Additionally, you will coordinate with an external team in India handling daily support operations.

Your primary focus will be on reducing major incidents, optimizing resources (servers, licenses, and workforce), and improving support for IT operations and development teams. The role is hybrid, requiring at least two days per week in the office.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience managing hundreds of switches and routers across LAN and WAN networks
• Experience handling large-scale network installations, including load balancers, DWDMs, Wi-Fi access points, IPS, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and monitoring tools
• Experience in configuring and managing Azure network controls (NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateways, Application Gateways), integrating enterprise networks with Azure hybrid environments and deploying and managing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls in both Azure and on-premise environments and utilizing Azure monitoring tools (Azure Network Watcher, Azure Monitor) for network health monitoring
• Strong IT operations planning and control skills
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher, spoken and written)
• Experience working in financial institutions is a plus
  
  

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting network issues, responding to incidents, and quickly restoring services.
• Providing technical consultation to other IT teams and business units
• Defining, creating, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures
• Ensuring network security and policy compliance in collaboration with Engineering and Cybersecurity teams
• Performing patching, upgrading, and hardening of network infrastructure
• Monitoring and optimizing network performance and resource utilization
