E-Commerce Junior Frontend Developer

The E-commerce Junior Front-end Developer is a technically skilled individual with a strong inclination towards innovation to continuously improve the GUESS.EU platform with a specific focus on frontend, backend development and User Experience. This individual will serve assist the E-commerce Frontend Developer in creating a key liaison between the business, the development team and the MIS department, providing technical support to ensure consistency and quality in implementations.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the creation of modules and components for the Guess website using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPscript, OCAPI, API, and AJAX
• Turn mockups into functional requirements using Confluence and Jira
• Provide technical support across all teams within the e-commerce department including SFCC Business manager
• Create and modify transactional emails in both the legacy system and the new system
• Implement custom code on the website to enhance or modify the standard behavior of pages or sections, creating personalized experiences for customer journeys in coordination with the web marketing team
• Utilize Google Tag Manager for the implementation of custom tags and tracking pixels, monitoring performances
• Assisting the E-commerce Frontend Developer monitoring the platform's technical performance to anticipate and solve potential issues
  
  
  

Requirements

• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with React or Angular is preferable
• Experience with AB-testing platforms is preferable
• Creating e-mail templates, AMPScript
• Ability to implement custom solutions to enhance website functionality
• Open mind and eagerness to learn
