Overview

My client is looking for a talented Golang Developer to join a dynamic team and help build the backend infrastructure of the platform. The successful candidate will work with a modern tech stack, including Kubernetes, AWS, and NATs, to create scalable and efficient solutions. As a key member of a small engineering team, you will have a direct impact on the architecture and development decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang.
• Work with PostgreSQL for data storage and optimize queries for performance.
• Build and maintain event-driven architectures using NATs.
• Deploy and manage services in a Kubernetes (K8s) environment on AWS.
• Manage DevOps tasks, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing backend services with Golang.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with NATs or similar event-driven messaging systems.
• Experience working in a Kubernetes (K8s) and AWS environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Experience in scale-up environments where adaptability and ownership are key.
• Familiarity with observability tools
