Job Description
The UI (User Interface) Designer is responsible for collaborating with UX Designers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive interfaces through wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. The UI Designer will create amazing user experiences by creating the visual elements and layouts of digital products that are user-friendly and aesthetically intuitive, whether for systems navigation, graphics, and interactions. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and creative design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering, UAT, and design updates for forthcoming builds.
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges.
Structure content and workflows/task flows to make information easily accessible and supports overarching Information Architecture.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, and prototypes (low-fidelity/high-fidelity) to effectively communicate interaction flow and design ideas.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and senior- level stakeholders.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback, as needed, through various UAT techniques/methods to inform design decisions and confirm products conform with usability best practices.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
