Parexel is hiring an Epidemiology Analyst to work remotely from any location in the continental US.



About the Rol

eWe are seeking an experienced Epidemiology Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading statistical analysis, programming, and database management for epidemiologic projects across our business units (GenMed, Spec Care, Vaccine). This position offers an exciting opportunity to implement advanced methods, technology, and innovations in epidemiology and safety sciences, with a focus on demonstrating product safety and improving health outcomes

.Key Responsibilitie

  • sLead statistical analysis and programming (using SAS, R, SQL, Python, etc.) for epidemiologic project
  • sManage databases and provide documentation for programs, databases, and system
  • sCollaborate with RWD and Information System staff on database evaluation, acquisition, storage, and managemen
  • tImplement new advanced methods, technology, and innovations in epidemiology, benefit-risk assessment, and safety science
  • sContribute to innovative projects using advanced AI technolog
  • yStay current with new developments in programming and analytic method

sQualification

sEducatio

  • nMaster's degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, mathematics, computer science, or related quantitative fiel
  • dDoctoral degree preferre

dExperienc

  • eMinimum 5 years of experience with SAS programming in public health-related areas (e.g., Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Outcome Research
  • )Experience with various operating systems, including UNIX and Window
  • sFamiliarity with structured programming principles and documentation procedure

sKnowledge and Skill

  • sExtensive knowledge of statistical programming (especially SAS), database management, and statistical analysi
  • sProficiency in data science and comfort with latest digital technologies (e.g., LLM, ML, DL, ANN, NLP
  • )Understanding and experience using US-based real-world data (claims and medical record databases
  • )Excellent communication and analytical skill
  • sHigh level of self-motivation, initiative, and attention to detai
  • lAbility to work independently and as a team playe
  • rCapacity to manage multiple projects under pressure with tight timeline
