DevOps Engineer

Our international client is looking for a DevOps Engineer working experience working on Azure Cloud for a Hybrid position in Zurich, this position is a freelance, B2B contract. The initial contract for this position 6 months with a high chance of extension.

Project:

• Position: DevOps Engineer
• Start: ASAP.
• Duration: 6 months
• On-site requirement: 3 days a week on-site in Zurich and 2 days remote.
• Language: English

Experience and skills:

• 7+ years of experience in an IT delivery environment ideally with specialization and hands-on experience in Azure Cloud DevOps transformation & Release Management
• Experience with MS Azure cloud technology and enabling cloud-native solutions, with previous experience working with big data technologies
• In-depth understanding of architecture-driven methodologies, micro-services, API, technologies, and trends with the ability to provide best-practices guidance
• Good at troubleshooting issues with Azure Cloud
• Experience implementing CI/CD environments, preferably within Financial Services or other regulated industry
• Understanding of a broad range of platforms, technologies, and tools, specifically Java, UNIX/Linux, Oracle, GitHub/Gitlab, Nexus, TeamCity, Sonar, and Confluence
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and other cloud-native infrastructure technologies and hands-on experience on any scripting language
• Understanding of Agile methodology with GitOps tools/practices in security and regulatory concerns common in the banking environment
