Python Developer

Global Enterprise Partners is looking for a great Python Developer to join my client in the mining industry for an exciting project. This role is based in Perth, Australia but they are open to other Australia locations depending on the right profile. Please see below for details.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Work with large datasets and develop tools for data analysis and visualization.
• Implement algorithms and data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and fix software bugs and issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Python Developer (minimum 2 years).
• Experience with data analysis and handling large datasets.
• Previous experience in the mining industry is a plus but not required.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
