A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a high likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role. This position will be split between 60% security operations and 40% GRC activities.
You will join a small but growing security team, that works very collaborative and wants to see you succeed.
About the Role:
- Spend 60% of your time working with security operation tools.
- Spend 40% of your time focusing on GRC tasks such as compliance reporting and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks.
- Perform risk assessments for third-party vendors and manage identity and access systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity across hospital systems and infrastructure.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a mix of operational and GRC responsibilities.
- Proficient in frameworks like NIST, ISO27001, Essential 8, and CIS V8.
- Expertise in SIEM and Vulnerability Management tools including CrowdStrike.
- Good knowledge of Azure and M365 security tools, with experience in cloud security.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
