The company’s core offering is an AI-driven virtual fitting solution that enables users to try on clothes digitally. By simulating how different garment sizes would look on various body types, the tool helps shoppers make better choices when it comes to fit and size. This reduces the high rate of product returns that e-commerce brands often face, boosting efficiency and customer satisfaction. As part of our mission to revolutionize the online fashion experience, we are expanding our Applied Machine Learning group with a key role focused on developing and deploying state-of-the-art machine learning models. 

Position Overview: 

We are looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a theoretical background and a fundamental understanding of machine learning implementations, including the strengths and limitations of different approaches. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing, deploying, and tuning machine learning models, along with the ability to critically evaluate algorithmic choices.  

This role requires substantial independence, as our startup environment demands that individuals take their own initiatives and contribute not only on a technical level but also to the conceptual development of our solutions. In addition to strong software engineering skills, the ideal candidate should have a history of successfully delivering machine learning solutions from initial concept through to deployment. They should be comfortable with both hands-on implementation and higher-level strategic thinking, helping shape the direction of our entire tech stack.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Adapt and customize contemporary machine learning models to fit specific domain requirements, ensuring they are tailored to address real-world challenges and constraints 
• Develop and maintain software infrastructure that enables efficient deployment and integration of machine learning models into production systems, ensuring they operate across various environments. 
• Collaborate with product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions, delivering machine learning solutions that meet performance, scalability, and usability goals 
• Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of machine learning models, ensuring they remain robust, reliable, and scalable in production environments
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in machine learning and AI, applying new techniques and tools where relevant to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems we build

Qualifications: 

• Expertise in machine learning libraries and tools necessary to deploy machine learning solutions
• Proficient in Python and associated libraries (e.g. Torch, Cuda)  
• General software knowledge such as Linux proficiency and Git
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar 

Desirable Skills: 

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ML deployment
• Result-oriented mindset
