They are currently looking for a talented Backend Engineer to help continue their mission of driving innovation and developing scalable, high-performance systems using Scala, Kafka, NoSQL, Kubernetes and Cassandra.

In this role, the engineer will be responsible for designing and developing robust backend systems that handle real-time data processing and large-scale distributed systems. You will:

• Design and develop robust, low-latency backend systems that power trading applications.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies to solve complex challenges in data streaming, microservices, and concurrency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and ensure the platform scales seamlessly.
• Help optimize systems for reliability, performance, and fault tolerance in a high-stakes trading environment.

Skills/Experience:

• Experience with backend technologies (such as Java, Go, Scala, Kafka, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) , microservices, and API design.
• A passion for building secure, high-performance systems in a real-time context.

Salary / Remuneration: €60,000 - €70,000 – plus generous benefits package, strong work-life balance
