Business Transformation Programme Director

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead strategic programmes within our high-performing Financial Services Consulting team.

You will play a key role in delivering business, IT, and regulatory transformations for top-tier financial services clients, ensuring exceptional service quality and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Lead Large-Scale Transformations: Oversee multi-year, multi-million-dollar programmes, ensuring successful execution from strategy to delivery.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to drive business growth.
3. Strategic Programme Delivery: Manage financial services consulting projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
4. Team Leadership & Development: Guide and mentor teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
5. Financial & Risk Oversight: Manage programme costs, forecasts, and resources, ensuring adherence to governance and risk management frameworks.
6. Business Development: Lead proposals, thought leadership, and business growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. 12+ years of experience in consulting and delivering complex change programmes, ideally in financial services (banking, insurance).
2. Proven expertise in business transformation, digital strategy, and regulatory change.
3. Strong financial acumen with experience in business case development and governance.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage senior client stakeholders.
5. Experience working in a matrix-managed organisation and leading cross-functional teams.
6. Professional certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master) are desirable.
