Data Analyst wanted for Global Reinsurance Company-Dublin City

Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our client, a Global Reinsurance Company, working on their Commercial Underwriting team. The role will report directly into the Underwriting Manager.

As a key member of the Underwriting Team, you will provide analytical and administrative support across underwriting, claims, and client engagement activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong data analytics background who is looking to develop a career in the reinsurance industry.

Your Role:

• Assisting in the underwriting process by ensuring data accuracy, preparing risk analysis, and supporting both new business and renewal processes.
• Managing underwriting data integrity, updating treaty and market data, and ensuring accurate data entry into internal systems.
• Supporting the preparation of client visits, audits, market meetings, and conferences by providing data insights and reports.
• Providing administrative and analytical support to underwriters in claims assessment and technical accounting solutions.
• Acting as a key point of contact for compliance and client due diligence queries while maintaining an up-to-date client contact register.

Your Skills

• Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools.
• An interest in working within reinsurance and gaining industry expertise.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel when required.
