About the Role:
As a Product Owner you will define the product vision, prioritize features and ensure the development team delivers valuable gaming experiences. You will act as a bridge between stakeholders and developers, driving innovation and enhancing user engagement in a competitive market.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the development of real-time chat features, ensuring seamless and engaging player communication within the Live Casino game client.
- Work closely with engineering teams to enhance and optimize the chat service within the broader game ecosystem, ensuring seamless interaction with APIs, moderation tools, and real-time messaging protocols.
- Define and prioritize chat-related features such as message delivery optimization, user engagement tools, and performance enhancements.
- Ensure the chat system aligns with compliance, security, and responsible gaming requirements.
- Craft detailed and precise written specifications for new products and features.
- Define and communicate product vision together with teams of Developers, Designers, Testers, Studio Operations team, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Developers, Designers, Testers, and other stakeholders to articulate and align on the product vision.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence teams to leverage data insights in product development.
- Analyze chat usage metrics, user behavior, and engagement trends to drive continuous improvements in the chat experience.
- Resolve product development challenges and prioritize features based on business needs and user feedback.
- Ensure new products and features undergo thorough usability and performance evaluations, including focus group testing when applicable.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to stay competitive.
- At least 3-5 years as a Product Owner with software development teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of the software development process.
- Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret complex data to drive product decisions.
- Experience working with chat or messaging platforms, either through direct product ownership, integrations, or implementation of real-time communication features.
- Proven track record of working with APIs and system integrations, particularly related to chat tools, live communication, or multiplayer gaming experiences.
- Familiarity with chat technologies such as WebSockets, XMPP, or similar messaging protocols.
- Understanding of chat moderation, anti-spam measures, and responsible gaming considerations for player communication.
- Proven experience working with both established and new teams, providing challenges and support to foster continuous improvement.
- Effective remote work skills with a strong ability to manage tasks and communication in a distributed environment.
- A successful track record in driving product concepts and delivering robust solutions in collaboration with your teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with chat analytics and AI-driven engagement tools, such as LLM, NLP-based chat moderation, chatbot-assisted communication, or sentiment analysis.
- Understanding of player engagement and retention strategies through chat, such as gamification, loyalty-based interactions
- Familiarity with chat escalation and support systems
- Experience managing chat experiences in high-traffic, real-time environments, ensuring stability, uptime, and performance optimization.
- Exposure to compliance and localization challenges for global chat products, including multilingual chat support and region-specific regulatory requirements.
- Salary range from 5,000 EUR gross to 6,666 EUR gross
