Senior Software Engineer

As part of the Banking Applications Unit, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of key banking applications. You will work on multiple projects, ensuring seamless collaboration, adherence to the Bank's operational framework, and alignment with its strategic IT objectives.

Mission

  • Developing and maintaining web applications using Java (backend) and React (frontend).
  • Building and optimizing mobile applications using React Native.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Integrating third-party APIs and services.
  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement visual designs.
  • Ensuring scalability and performance optimization.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Backend Development: Java J2SE & Java EE, REST, API Gateway, Kafka, JBoss application server, Oracle DB.
  • Frontend Development: JavaScript, React.
  • Development Tools: GitHub, Nexus, CI/CD using Jenkins.
  • Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
  • Familiarity with BMC as a service management tool and IDEs like IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code is a plus.

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in banking or financial applications.
  • Proven experience in projects related to lending applications, such as Guarantee Calls, Cash & Liquidity Management, Rate Setting, Advisory Services, Capital Markets, and Mandate Management.
  • Prior experience working in international organizations is an asset.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
