Mid PHP Developer

Work setup

We offer two working models: a hybrid model (3 days working from home and 2 days in the office) or a remote model with occasional visits to the office for team events, training, and business trips.

About The Project

Bingel TMS is an application designed to support teachers in their daily tasks. It consists of three modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of teaching.

• The Planner helps teachers manage their teaching methods, create weekly plans, and track progress by monitoring which goals have been achieved with each group.
• The Care Module enables teachers to focus on individual pupils' specific care needs, while the Dashboards provide an overview of the classes at a glance.
• The Assessment Module allows teachers to assess pupils according to their school’s requirements and generate tailored reports to share with students.
  
  

Responsibilities

Your main task is to help build the most innovative and engaging educational applications.

As a Mid PHP Developer, you will be part of one of our fantastic Scrum teams. You develop new functionalities, solve problems, and make analyses of more complex issues. By making a proof of concept, you help the team make technical choices where necessary. You do not lose sight of quality and motivate your team members to do the same.

Requirements

Must-have requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a PHP developer: 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with the Laravel framework.
• Hands-on experience with development of complex applications.
• Unit testing (PHPUnit).
• Integration testing.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Docker, Kustomize.
• Git and code reviews.
• English proficiency: C1/C2 (both written and spoken communication).
• Spanish proficiency: B1/B2 (both written and spoken communication).
  
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Backend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices.
• Support and troubleshooting of application issues.
• AWS (CloudFormation, CloudFront, S3, IAM, Aurora MySQL, CodePipeline).
