In the CoE of Advanced Analytics in Fujitsu we are currently looking for a Data Scientist to continue the growth of our team and leverage our product portfolio and develop new data driven solutions to address new business challenges.


As our future Data Scientist


You will mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies, through:


  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.


Your profile


You have a Degree, Master’s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience working within the IT Consultancy industry, a special focus on the energy sector is a plus. You also have:


  • Extensive experience in statistical and data mining techniques, including GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, decision trees, text mining, and social network analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and advanced statistics, including modeling, clustering, simulation, scenario analysis, time series analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience using statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) for data manipulation and analysis of large datasets.
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques, their practical applications, and statistical testing methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on product development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • Motivation to learn and master new technologies and methodologies.
  • You were born with an analytical mind and a self-motivation that urges you to strive for results. You are a natural team player, eager to learn, and flexible to adapt regardless of the environment.
